On Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th February we held 2 full days of our KS1 Multi Skills Net and Wall Festival at the Dolphin Centre. In attendance we had High Coniscliffe, Red Hall, Polam Hall, Reid Street, Corporation Road, Skerne Park, West Park Academy, Mowden, St John’s Academy, St George’s, Gurney Pease, Heighington, Rydal, Whinfield and Abbey – an amazing 15 Primary Schools with over 520 children in attendance. Children took part in 8 different leader led activities which helped them to develop skills used for Net and Wall games. Both days were full of lots of Passion and lots of happy children. A really big thank you has to go the Young Leaders from Haughton Academy who were excellent Leaders and brilliant role models.
